RAIN INTERNATIONAL: OUR STORY OF SOUL AND SEED

It’s a simple concept, and you’re going to love it. Mother Nature did most of the work, really, so we can’t take all of the credit…okay, maybe just a little. Our story starts with seeds, and, to be honest, that is our secret: SEEDS. Yes, those little, tiny, nutrient-dense, miraculous ovules that germinate into new plants. We love them, and we use them as the foundation of our products.

But we don’t use just any only seeds. We source the most nutrient-dense, scientifically researched and healthful seeds on the planet. Of course, our seeds must be non-GMO, and must be pure because, as you know, there are such things as bad seeds, and we naturally avoid those. We don’t pretend to have discovered the benefit of using seeds as nutritional supplements. In fact, people have been using seeds for a very, very long time—like thousands of years. King Tut knew a thing or two about seeds; he was entombed with them. Muhammad also spoke of seeds, and so did Isaiah from the Bible’s Old Testament. Interestingly enough, Tut, Muhammad and Isaiah spoke of the same seed: black cumin, also known as black seed, or, as they say in Latin Nigella sativa. (Say that out loud: Nigella sativa. It sort of rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it?).

These ancient civilizations fell in love with black cumin and used it for almost any ailment that you can think of. Although they knew that it worked, they didn’t know why….but we do. We hang our hat on the fact that Rain International is first-to-market with natural, seed-based supplements. Our contemporary science shows that the healing properties of black cumin are due to various compounds found within the protective shell of the seed, such as lipids, enzymes, and antioxidants, plus a very powerful compound called thymoquinone. (We just call it TQ, for short).
